A new build development to accommodate a new practice, NHS dental practice and pharmacy within mixed use residential, retail and crèche development. The medical scheme was completed separately to the remaining development.

 

Health Investments Holdings Group were selected by the operator of the GMS contract, Cedar Medical Limited, who were themselves appointed by North Hampshire PCT to deliver medical and dental services to the new occupiers of the 2,500 new homes built to the south of Basingstoke.

 

The practice had been operating form a temporary building whilst the list size grew to reach a critical level where PCT funding became available – the temporary facilities were provided by Health Investments Holdings and removed from the site when the new surgery development was completed.

 

Build period – 9 months including temporary accommodation

Total area – 695 sq.m over two floors
